Product Description
The IQAir GC VOC is a high performance air purification system designed for the effective control of volatile organic compounds and higher molecular weight gaseous pollutants in commercial environments.
It is engineered to capture a wide range of airborne chemicals, including solvents, alcohols and ozone, making it suitable for applications such as laboratories, healthcare settings, printing environments and industrial processes.
The system features a three stage filtration process. This includes a high efficiency particulate pre filter, a dedicated VOC gas phase filtration system with high capacity activated carbon, and four electrostatically charged post filter sleeves to capture fine residual particles and prevent carbon dust migration.
This configuration ensures targeted gas phase filtration alongside reliable particulate control, supporting improved indoor air quality where chemical contamination is a concern.

Filtration Technology
The GC VOC achieves its filtration performance through a three stage system designed for combined particulate and gas phase control:
Pre Filtration Stage
The GC Pre Filter (H11 class) removes airborne particulate matter before it reaches the gas phase media. This protects the carbon bed from premature loading and helps extend the service life of the VOC filtration stage.
Gas Phase Filtration Stage
The GC VOC cartridge filter set contains approximately 7.8 kg of high grade granular activated carbon and potassium permanganate impregnated alumina. These are housed within four cylindrical cartridges, providing a large surface area and extended dwell time. This design supports efficient adsorption and chemisorption of volatile organic compounds and a wide range of gaseous contaminants.
Post Filtration Stage
The GC Post Filter Sleeve Set consists of four electrostatically charged fibre sleeves. This stage captures any fine particles or carbon dust generated within the gas filtration stage, ensuring that only clean, filtered air is returned to the environment.
