Product Description
The IQAir GC ChemiSorber high-performance air cleaner is the air filtration unit designed for the control of a wide range of chemical pollutants.
Designed to capture and retain contamination from lower molecular aldehydes and organic acids, sulphuric oxides, and nitrogen oxides.
In addition to its chemical capture capability, the IQAir ChemiSorber air cleaning system retains all the particle control of the GC series with its HEPA H11 pre-filter stage.

Source Capture
When used together with the FlexVac accessory, the IQAir GC ChemiSorber air cleaning system captures fumes, dust, and vapours directly at the source. An IQAir GC ChemiSorber air cleaner can be used with the FlexVac as a free-standing and mobile unit or can be wall mounted through the use of the VM FlexVac kit.

Variable Fan Settings
All IQAir GC ChemiSorber air cleaners have a powerful fan and high-flow filtration media, making them capable of efficient air movement in any given environment. The additional flexibility of six fan speeds enables a user to set the most efficient, low-noise, and low-energy use via the control panel for any required airflow.
Tested and Certified
IQAir individually tests each stand-alone IQAir GC ChemiSorber air cleaner to ensure that its performance meets the strictest specifications. The results of the tests are noted on a hand-signed Certificate of Performance, which is shipped with every IQAir GC ChemiSorber air cleaning system.
Filtration Technology
GC ChemiSorber Filtration Stages
The GC achieves its filtration efficiencies over three filtration stages:
1. GC Pre-Filter H11 (XL) Removes particulate contamination before it can reach the ChemiSorber media. This extends the life of the ChemiSorber media and provides superb protection against particulate contamination.
2. GC ChemiSorber Cartridge-Filter Set 14.6 kg of the highest grade granular impregnated alumina is housed in four cylindrical-shaped cartridges. The large surface area of the cartridges and their cylindrical shape promote high system efficiency.
3. GC Post-Filter Sleeve Set The final stage of the three filtration stages adds another HEPA class filter, which stops particles produced as a by-product of stage 2 from being released by the system.
